Founder: Marti Brown

I grew up in a little town of Osterburg in Central PA. I graduated from a Christian school and I was Valedictorian of my class. I have had many trials, heart aches and mountains to climb but I have also experienced many, many miracles in my life. God has always gotten me through. I know it took years for him to mold me in the person that I am today. I had to totally shed my past. At the age of eleven I started babysitting, I would do daylight and then go to another family at night and of course somebody always needed someone on the weekend. Well that was 42 years ago and I am still doing it. Taking business in High School I always thought I would work in some big business office. I actually had gotten a job in DC with a big agency but God had different plans for me. That big business ended up with me having my own home daycare. I guess it takes a special person to do that. In 1986 I met this man, I knew him in high school but thought he was a goof ball. In January 1987, he proposed on the Pa Turnpike (I had taken him to my Aunts in Irwin to pick up Rabbits) I accepted his proposal and I had never been on a real date with him, we were married in November and this year its 31 years later. Now he is an Ordained Minister and I am a Ministers wife, growing up, never in my wildest dreams would I ever think I will be a Ministers wife. I guess it took years for God to mold us both into what he wanted us to be. In spite of the doctors telling medically I would never have children, God bless us with one healthy son Cagney.
